Siamo Silvia e Luca,e con le nostre bambine, siamo degli appassionati cinofili.La nostra esperienza cinofila si è formata negli anni sopratutto con cani da pastore (Tedesco e Belga G.)e Dobermann.Ci piace pensarci come "cinofili a 360°" : abbiamo collaborato per diverso tempo con associazioni di volontariato che si occupano di adozioni e riabilitazioni di cani ( di razza e non)e 3 dei nostri cani infatti provengono da queste esperienze, sono sterlizzati e ovviamente non sono mai rientrati in alcun progetto di selezione/allevamento da parte nostra. Accanto al volontariato la nostra passione cinofila ci ha portato a considerare l'idea di selezionare amatorialmente e con serietà due delle razze che ci avevano colpito maggiormente e con cui sentivamo maggiore sintonia:
Il Beauceron (Pastore di Beauce) e il Borzoi (levriero russo). Beauceron e Borzoi sono due razze molto diverse tra loro e con compiti molto differenti ma sono unite da alcuni aspetti che noi troviamo fondamentali e gratificanti : alta rusticità,franchezza di carattere,equilibrio , affidabilità ed un profondo ed esclusivo attaccamento alla famiglia di cui fanno parte.
Anche per questo ,alcuni anni fa, abbiamo lasciato la città e ci siamo trasferiti in campagna,nella quiete delle colline circondati dai vigneti.
I nostri cani vivono tutti a stretto contatto con la famiglia,con i bambini e con tutti gli amici e parenti che vengono in visita,vivono tanto dentro casa quanto fuori casa. I nostri cani sono tutti estremamente equilibrati, altamente socializzati e ben "educati". Questi aspetti fanno si che vivano in armonia tra loro (anche i due maschi che possediamo) e nel rispetto comunque della loro natura e delle loro differenze attitudinali/individuali.
We are Silvia and Luca and,together with our girls,we are a family of passionate dog lovers.
our life and dog lover experience has been enriched/formed with German Shepherds,Belgian Groenendaels, Dobermann, Labrador,Greyhound and of course some crossbreeds.
For some years we have also collaborated with associations dedicated to the recovery and rehabilitation of abandoned and /or abused dogs
Presently, as heredity from this period beside our "official" doggies(Malù and the Borzois gang) live with us 3 "rescued"dogs that are part of our family.These dogs have been rescued from difficult situations; they are obviously neutered and they have never entered in breeding/reproduction plans
Our dogs all live in harmony with each other and are all active part of the family: they live both outside and inside the house in harnesswith all members of our family(including children) and of course with relatives and friends who come to visit us.We do not use cages or pens.
We believe that a "Good Dog"to really be such must :
- whetherof purebred, rest on excellent genetic foundations (i.e. on a serious work of selection by the breeder) in order to ensure health and typical character, and that these aspects should never be secondary to the morphology.
- be trained with love but also with firmness and coherence.
- be able to grow up in a coherent way, respectful of its nature: both as “Animal-Dog” in general and, in the specific case, meeting the peculiarities and aptitudes that connaturalize it as belonging to a certain breed.
There would be much more things to write but, at this point, we prefer our dogs to speak for us….
